As I Remember Mamma is a captivating narrative of life on a small farm in the early 1900s based upon the life of Sophia Grimpo Schumaker and the Schumacher families. Waldo Schumaker tells of life in a German immigrant farming community in southern Illinois through his drawings stories and family photos. His stories are fascinating and take us back to a time when the community church friends and family all worked together to manage life without today's technology.
