AS THE WIND BLOWS

AS THE WIND BLOWSas I think of the writing of this bookevery tree of creativity I have shookhoping fruit would fall down all over meas I penned this manuscript of poetryand for me it has been a labor of lovepraying it will be blessed by the heavenly Dovethat what I have put my heart so intoit will give other's overcast some sky bluethat as life has rained on their paradethey will be uplifted by the poems I have madethat as the wind blows through my heartit will give the discouraged a faith's lionheartand that the God I long to please and glorifythis book would augment the same behind the reader's eyebecause I believe that my main contribution to His kingdomit is to write about Him to those of the burdensomethose who need His truth and wonder put into poetry succinctso loving and trusting Jesus would be their natural instinctthus my quiet and humble attempt to glorify Godand to help those feeling like they have a barren sodit is to write as a catalyst for another's transformationand ultimately for God's glorificationhence as the wind blows at me in perpetual gale gustI am left with writing as my sacred trust
