Ascension at Antioch

Fleeing her home in Atlanta because of a violent encounter Lila Dawkins stumbles on the small town of Antioch Mississippi. Charmed by the town and its inhabitants Lila sells her home in the city and moves to a farmhouse where she discovers a decades-old painting featuring her own face. Lila goes to question the artist Berniece Messer but the woman has disappeared leaving behind a house filled with her amazing art. While seeking the artist Lila uncovers another mystery one that proves far more important and changes her life forever.
