Asemsebe: Whispers from the Ancestors

Asemsebe is a Ghanaian word which roughly translates to words of wisdom or philosophical debate. What follows is a collection of poems soliloquies and prose intended to tickle dormant ears deep within the human psyche. It is an invitation to ruminate as ones own silent witness. Its subjects serve to engage in conversation with ones self and the universe at large in an attempt to make sense of the human condition and our unseen relationships with our thoughts--the bit of ourselves which the world does not see or hear.
