Ashes and Sparks

<p>Ashes and Sparks is a collection of personal poetry by Sonia Waddell.</p><p class=ql-align-justify>Sonia Waddell is a physiotherapist and an animal activist. After retiring from hospital work she became a school speaker on vegetarianism and she also campaigns against the cruelty involved in vivisection factory farming live animal export and hunting.</p><p class=ql-align-justify>She says I admit to some nervousness at allowing these few poems (I have discarded many) into the light of day. It is just possible though that one or two may strike a chord with a reader and that is my justification for in the slightly adapted words of Percy Bysshe Shelley 'scattering as from an unextinguished hearth these Ashes and Sparks'.</p><p></p>
