<p>While her giant bodyguard Carl lies in a coma Ashlyn has to resume her normal life. But how can it ever be normal again with everything she's learned about her mother? Her bully Susan is still making her life miserable at school. She can't tell her best friend Alan anything about Carl. She especially misses the big guy a lot.</p><p>But when Carl finally returns to his master life doesn't improve much. Susan's bullying is relentless Alan thinks Ashlyn might be crazy and her family doesn't trust Carl.</p><p>As more facts are revealed about Carl's origins they may have good reason to be wary of his temper.
