Ashru ke Kshan / अश्रु के क्षण : (कविता संग्रह)

Ashok Srivastava was born on 20th of October 1946 in Harsinghawa village situated in Mankapur Tahsil of Gonda District Uttar Pradesh. He opted Voluntary Retirement from the post of Manager in 2001 from erstwhile Allahabad Bank (now Indian Bank). He as early as in the age of thirteen years wrote his first poem  NEERAV NISTABDH NISHA MEN first story  VEERANGANA and first novelSAPAN JHARE PHOOL KE and since then he kept on writing. He is mainly a writer of novels plays(drama) and stories. Writes poems infrequently. The present one ASHRU KE KSHANis the collection of those ones. Based on  historical ground his novels SAMMRAT ASHOK AND BIMBISAAR have been liked at large in public. In eightees the one-act PRAGYA DURBAL gained large popularity. Right from studentship he was being selected for different inter- college debate competitions. He got second prize in a debate competition held on 2nd of October 1964 in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh which was provided by the then great personality of Jansangh (former Prime Minister of India) Atal Bihari Vajpayee and awarded by Rupees 25/ cash. Ashok Srivastava acknowledges his source of inspiration to great hindi author Jay Shankar Prasad. ~Prateek Srivastava
