Assessing Organizational Crises- Evaluating the Human Impact

Organizations worldwide cannot escape crises. Crises effect more than productivitythey often profoundly impact people's lives. In an age of quantificationmeasuring the extent to which humans are impacted during crises isparamount. This present study delivers an argument for brief and pragmaticorganizational crisis assessment instruments. Furthermore a specific instrument's(the TAS:O) psychometric properties are evaluated. The results indicatethat pragmatic instruments evaluating the human impact of crises are possibleand cutting edge research demonstrates that highly valid and reliableorganizational assessment surveys are likely to be a staple of future organizationalcrisis management.
