Assessment of Apical Root Resorption during Anterior Retraction

Root resorption occurs during treatment when forces at the apex exceeds the resistance and reparative ability of the periapical tissues.Although many studies have studied Root resorption very few studies have examined permanent teeth from first molar to first molar with adequate radiographic technique. our work investigate the prevalence and degree of orthodontically induced root resorption after treatment with fixed appliances in permanent teeth.
