Assessment of knowledge attitude and practices of EBF

Global monitoring indicates that only 39% of all infants worldwide are exclusively breastfed. Therefore the study seeks to assess knowledge attitude and practices of Exclusive Breast Feeding (EBF) among working nursing mothers in the Sekyere South District of the Ashanti Region. A descriptive cross-sectional study design was used. The study population considered working nursing mothers who were attending welfare clinic with a baby for immunization and growth monitoring and whose last child was between six to twelve months.
