Asteraceae and Liliaceae of Egypt

Two of the largest families in the Egyptian flora are the Asteraceae (representing the dicotyledons) and the Liliaceae sensu lato (representing the monocotyledons).These two families were represented by sufficient number of species and all their morphological characters were recorded. All of these characters were subjected to numerical analysis under the program suit DELTA. This program suit is among the most efficient tools for key generation. It produces conventional and interactive keys. Only the conventional keys to representatives of the spiny Asteraceae the spineless Asteraceae and the Liliaceae sensu stricto were selected and included in this book.
