This is the 75th anniversary edition of the tour de force series of articles in Paramhansa Yoganandas East-West magazine demonstrating the connection of the astronomical phenomenon known as the precession of the equinoxes with the great cycles of world history astrology and ancient Hindu Scripture. Tara was an astrologer direct disciple and chief editor of the Indian yogi Paramhansa Yogananda author of the 1946 spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi. Taras articles were based on the work of Yoganandas guru Sri Yukteswar. At the time of publication in the early 30s yoga and Yogananda were relatively unknown. Tara helped build Yoganandas organization SRF Inc. and indirectly inspired the creation of its largest spin-off Ananda formed by its vice-president Swami Kriyananda. Over the past decades interest has dramatically increased as many of the gurus predictions have been proven.
