ASURA: Tale of the Vanquished is is the retelling of the famous Indian epic Ramayana from the villains point of view. The tale is out of the ordinary since tellings of historical stories are usually told by the victors. Asura is the tale of the vanquished and dares to narrate the tale of the Asura people. It describes the Asura community as one that was more liberal than the Deva clan. It also narrates the tale of Mahabali Vamana and Sitas Agni–Pareeksha from Ravana and Bhadras perspective. The book talks about the human emotions behind the mythology and gives its readers a completely new perspective.
