The novel tells the story of the broken leg which triggers Grace's agoraphobia Cotard's Syndrome PTSD and a panic disorder through her recovery through EMDR and exposure therapy. The novel braids a mythological tale of Eyewalker and Rabbit throughout a parallel story of how families suffer and recover.</p>
