About The Book

Due to the lack of scales adapted to the northeastern region of Argentina of psychological tests that evaluate attention a cross-sectional and quantitative study with an exploratory-descriptive scope has been carried out in the capital city of the province of Chaco (Resistencia) to investigate the Attentional Profile in children from primary schools with different characteristics (private/state-urban/peripheral) with the aim of identifying it through the evolutionary development of attention and establishing the regional scales of the D2 SDMT Faces Stroop WISC IV Symbols and Digits and TMT Tracing Test attentional tests. The mean of the aforementioned tests was determined according to different variables: age gender school school level. The local scales of the tests used were obtained. The relevance of using valid reliable instruments adapted to the school population of the region is highlighted in order to specify and enrich the psychodiagnosis in school orientation tasks and adequacy of psychoeducational intervention programs that contribute to increase the academic and social performance of the child.
