Audits Are Murder

Audits can be murder but sometimes they can be even harder on the auditor. Especially when one discovers that the university he works for could be responsible for medical malpractice and the death of a promising young high school graduate.<p> Dan Martyn is a handsome ex-cop-turned-auditor for a major university in Orange County California. During a routine fiscal closing audit for a medical department he stumbles onto evidence that one of their doctors may have caused the untimely death of eighteen-year-old Corina Zavala who earned a scholarship to attend LaMont Christian College.<p> He wants to gather the entire story before the press gets wind of it while at the same time saving the reputation of the girl's memory. It will take all of Dan's skills both as an auditor and a former investigator to discover the truth behind Corina's death before someone else gets hurt and before a local newshound has a field day at the university's expense.<p> Indeed audits can be murder.
