The global crisis of the COVID-19 has impacted the education sector tremendously. During this uncertainty the delivery of Adult Education has also been severely affected. In these trying times technology has been a source of hope and a lifeline in many ways for education including adult education. The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) also envisioned that technology would be leveraged to strengthen the adult literacy initiatives. In this pretext this study explores the role of Mass media and Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) in augmenting adult Literacy with particular reference to implementing the NEP 2020.
