Augury

The world is a work of art that gives birth to itself! According to my favourite philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, art is the fundamental metaphysical activity of man; art is the highest form of human activity. He also urges one to not just endure their suffering but to embrace it; and turn it into art and beauty. As I am setting forth into the twilight of my life, I have been searching for things with pith and substance, a deeper meaning of life. These compositions are my humble attempts at creating art for they are products of my urge for emotional expression and indulgence in theatrical excitement. It is a genuine attempt to sluice away all the emotions that I have kept bottled up in me for too long and thereby attain catharsis or purification. I have tried to diligently articulate and judiciously animate all my forlorn reflections and propitious contemplations while navigating this intricate labyrinth called life. The aesthetic illustrations that you will find in this book bring my words to life in the most profound way. I am eternally grateful for the nous and flair of a gifted artist and friend Hari PG.
