August of 68'

<p>A coming of age story in the vein of The Lincoln Highway but with the fast pace of John Green's Paper Towns.</p><p> </p><p>It's August 1968 and the nation is divided again but not by party-it's generation versus generation over a war politics race and social class.</p><p>And so comes the story of Steve an affluent college student who with three friends are planning to avenge a dying uncle of one by stealing from a company in an attempt to commit the perfect crime at the perfect time during the infamous Democratic Convention in Chicago.</p><p> </p><p>But then in a summer school class Steve meets Lily a working class girl who is part of the protest movement at the convention and who along with the turmoil of the times changes his life forever.</p>
