It presents him with the strength to face personal grinds-a diagnosis of bipolar disorder-and professional challenges-his work with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The support and values from his family especially his parents and grandfather play a meaningful role in his life. Later on the author takes on a new mission to help others and elevate his faith. He adopts the name Imam Mehdi Hassan to share Islamic teachings.
