Automation-Based Water Cleaning Robot for Improved Solar Panel Performance

Solar power the third most important renewable energy source by global installed capacity is rapidly growing in India. However its efficiency is often compromised by external factors like dust and cloudy weather. Manual cleaning methods are inconsistent and pose health risks to workers. This project proposes a fully automated water-based solar panel cleaning robot featuring a mobile platform with soft nylon brushes and squeegees to remove dust and water uniformly. Aimed at maximizing energy output the system offers a viable and efficient solution with potential for integration into solar panel installations as a permanent feature in the future.
