Ava the Mermaid

She becomes friends with another mermaid whose tail looks similar to hers.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(153 153 153 1); background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1)>Along with her brother and sister Ava shows the merpeople how they can include her in their games and they all enjoy playing together.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(153 153 153 1); background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1)>Ava the Mermaid was written based on Eleanor Baggaley's daughter who has Down syndrome. She wanted a book to support other children in understanding that we're all different and some people may need a little help from time to time but still enjoy the same things as their peers.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(153 153 153 1); background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1)>The book includes activities to help explore kindness and inclusion further.</span></p>
