The AzadikaAmritMahotsav is being celebrated all over the country. In this regard the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser and Ministry of Culture GoI in association with VigyanPrasar planned February 22-28 2022 as the glorious scientific week called “VigyanSarvatraPujyate”. Themed around “75 Years of Independence” 75 programs at 75 different locations all over India are planned. Department of Physics Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar under the able guidance and leadership of Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu worthy Vice-Chancellor with support from the state nodal agency Punjab State Council for Science and Technology is publishing this book as an effort to promote science and technology in India among the students and the general public irrespective of any social or demographic limitations. The book traverses through the past present and future of science and technology communication in India. Book publication is funded under VigyanPrasar’s flagship program scope “Science & Technology Communication Popularization for all”.
