Awakening

A note about this my third book and the process of its creation. I have recently found myself standing more firmly at the threshold between the seen and the unseen. A poem announces itself with a feeling an intuition or maybe a first line. Then it's as if I'm peering into a dark room lit by a solitary candle and describing what slowly emerges from the dark. There is no prior plan or narrative: I simply transcribe what I see or sense. There is a feeling of being seized compelled commanded. It is irresistible.
