Ballads of Melancholy is a manifesto of a wondering mind which explores the struggles and serenities of love in all its glory and its glooms. All the poems in this anthology explore different aspects of love romance reminiscence and above all melancholy. But together they essentially tell a story of a passionate heart drowned in the oceans of his beloved’s memories and mysteries. Through words the narrator tries to contemplate his love for his muse the struggles to express it and to ultimately find his purpose in this grand stage of drama called life. The narrator has his moments of joy as well as the moments of misery. Just like in life this anthology tries to take the reader through a journey of the emotions and experiences of love as the narrator faces them all!
