Machinist and Russian naval officer Pavel Glamzo smuggles his wife and two daughters out of 1906 Imperial Russia and across the ocean to New York City. Overcoming hardships they carve out new lives with other Russian Immigrants on the unforgiving streets of Brooklyn. They survive the Great War and the Spanish flu. They become wealthy and move out of Brooklyn to Westchester County. Will their bubble of luxury last? Will their marriages continue?
