Bamboozle!

Abused by her stepfather distraught by the insensitive fumblings of college jocks Demi wrapped herself in a cocoon sad that her dreams of turning the tables on men are limited to coups she executes at bridge tables. When her mother falls ill with cancer she is wrenched from her cloister and summoned to Boston to help care for her. There she takes a temporary job with the Back Bay Club.</p><p>Months into the job her boss asks her to Nantucket to work on books at his beach house. That night ignoring her pleas he forces himself on her. Sickened while he sleeps searching for party bridge in his computer she discovers an offshore bank account. The Club is a front.</p><p>Long-harbored thoughts of revenge take shape. The <I>Bamboozle!</I> One of the coups she executed at the bridge table. For it to succeed to steal his money she needs a patsy with a boat a man she can scam into assisting her.</p><p>And so begins a tale of double-dealing Demi charting each step on coups at the bridge table.and all but ends when she finds not only that the tables were turned but that she could have lost something she always dreamed of finding.</p>
