Our primary purpose in writing this book is that young persons whichever stream of knowledge they have pursued should be wellversed with the institution that is known as money. We will not go deep into historical evolution of money. We would focus more on the nature and sources of money in the modern economies. Money is changing shapes: computer bits are increasingly reducing the role of money. Governments the world-over are working overtime to set up cashless economies.
