<p>This anthology of Sri Surendra Kumar Choudhary is titled बांसुरी meaning The Flute which is a metaphorical projection of the poet's creative voice. The title inherits the cultural tradition of Indian art history and mythologyall in one. बांसुरी alludes directly to Krishna's cultural centrality in Indian traditional arts. The poet articulates this metaphor both in its traditional sense and in its viability for modern exigencies. His flute is addressing primarily the Indian youth and almost every individual with an assertion to imbibe the crux of Indian philosophical heritage to enlighten the present youth and empower them to combat present-day adversities.
