Barney's to blame

<p>Mine is not the only voice in the world</p><p>There are many some loud some not</p><p>Some of what I do may be a little clunky or repetitive</p><p>And there may be those who may not like my perspective</p><p>Yet if you can speak do so when you feel the need</p><p><br></p><p>The world is in a bad state</p><p>Some people keep trying</p><p>Yet a serious problem exists</p><p>And that is the way many</p><p>Including our leaders and many politicians</p><p>Defer us from what really matters</p><p>I will not compile a list here</p><p>Except to say there is much conflict and war in the world</p><p>And it is discernible that without my being personal</p><p>Or believing in conspiracies</p><p>I know many in power divert our thought from the issues of today</p><p>Those of the disastrous global warming and climate change</p><p>As well as the poverty of so many nations and people in this world</p><p>They talk up other matters</p><p>Finding enemies here there and everywhere</p><p>So we the people face up to that</p><p>Instead of what we need to do:</p><p>Help save the planet</p><p><br></p><p>Governments still run economics in terms of growth</p><p>Growth of goods and services</p><p>And growth of population</p><p>While what we need is the sustaining of the world</p><p>Something requiring a much more realistic approach</p><p>To what we have thought and done</p><p><br></p><p>Save the world</p><p>Save the people on it</p><p>And let the animals have space and life</p><p>So we can live alongside them</p>
