Basic knowledge of political education

Civic Education in Adult Education was conceived in 2005 for the European Year of Civic Education and updated in recent years from experiences in the tertiary and quaternary education sector for intergenerational learning. The basis of the teaching and learning situation of a civic education is the state of knowledge of the connection between biographical fit and interest in civic education offers. There are increasing considerations however interrupted by the Corona pandemic to use a course form modular in the adult education. In general political awareness is formed by recognizing one's own interests and experiencing social conflicts and power relations. A politically enlightened person is not an object of politics but rather a subject intervening in political conditions.
