About the Author: Sunit Singhi Sunit Singhi is Head Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency and Intensive Care Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh. He established the first academic Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in India at PGIMER and first postdoctoral DM (Pediatric Critical Care) training programme in India. He is the President Elect of World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies (WFPICCS) was Vice President of WFPICCS 2012-13 and is on WFPICCS Board of Officers since 2007 and Board of Directors as Asian Representative since 2000. He was Founder Chairperson of Pediatric Intensive Care Chapter of Indian Academy of Pediatrics (1998-2000) Chairman of Pediatric Section Indian Society of Critical Care 2002-03 and the Founder National Convener of Pediatric Advance Life Support Courses of IAP 19
