Basic Writing Skills

The skills of writing represent one of the most effective tools of communication. It helps to develop imaginative and critical thinking abilities and is often the sign of an education. It involves the ability to write effectively and creatively. To convey one‘s idea to others through a written discourse effectively the basic element is a sentence. Sentences written correctly and appropriately result in the clarity of ideas which in turn is helpful for effective communication. Sentences are also basic components for larger written discourses like a paragraph and an essay. Unless sentences are written properly and accurately the message intended to be conveyed in the larger texts may be distorted covered or changed. Hence writing sentences appropriately and accurately is a base for any message to be transmitted in longer texts. Therefore to write an effective sentence one needs to know what a sentence is and how it is constructed.
