In the isolated Arctic town of Hammerfest Norway a sinister presence disrupts the peaceful community casting doubt on the faith of Lars Fredriksen a dedicated Pentecostal pastor. To save them Lars embarks on a perilous journey into the wilderness for a powerful purification ritual battling grotesque spirit guides that embody his fears.
