Be Kind to the Environment

Be Kind to the Environment is the first of a series of books for children focusing on introducing young minds to issues pertaining to the environment. It is intended to be a primer a beginning for curious minds to explore the words pertaining to the environment. I turned to early childhood development educators for confirmation that writing a series of books for children on the importance of protecting and preserving the environment was appropriate and not beyond age levels. There was resounding encouragement and a sense of urgency that these books were needed now. Children can have fun learning about the environment. “Be Kind to the Environment” is a user friendly and fun teaching aid that encourages discussion will help clarify current issues give a better understanding of the environment and offer options we can all choose to live in a kinder world.
