Just As An Infant Learns To Walk And A Supermodel Masters The Catwalk So Must A Christian Learn To Walk Perfectly With God. This Is Not A Choice But A Requirement For All Believing Christians That Love The Lord. If You Sincerely Love The Lord You Will Obey Him. The Word Christian Simply Means “A Follower Of Christ.” If We Are To Carry That Emblem We Must Be True Followers Of Christ And Not By Name Only. The World Judges By The Outward Appearance Of Man But God Looks At Our Hearts And You Cannot Manipulate Or Swindle Him. If We Are Charged In Court For Being A Christian Would There Be Enough Evidence To Convict Us Without Any Doubt? Do You Have One Foot In The World And One Foot In The Kingdom Of God? Though We Live In This World We Are Certainly Not Part Of This World. Jesus Christ Spoke To The Pharisees And Scribes In Matthew 23:23 Saying “Woe To You Scribes And Pharisees Hypocrites! For You Pay Tithe Of Mint And Anise And Cumin And Have Neglected The Weightier Matters Of The Law.” In Other Words It Is Not Enough To Say I Pay My Tithe And Attend Church Regularly And Think My Walk With God Is Complete. Jesus Went Further To Explain In Matthew 23:23 Saying “These You Ought To Have Done Without Leaving The Others Undone.” This Means Yes You Are Expected To Pay Your Tithe And Offering But That Is Not The End Of Your Walk With God. Bringing Our Tithes And Offerings Into God’S House Is A Scriptural Injunction But God Is Much More Interested In Our Walk With Him As We Saw In The Life Of Enoch (Genesis 5:24). Our Heavenly Father Craves For A Personal Relationship With Us Knowing Fully Well That Our Earthly Currencies That Are Not Being Spent In Heaven Cannot Suffice For Our Place In His Heart. Jesus Only Mentioned A Few Of The Weightier Matters Such As Justice Mercy And Faith But To Perfect One’S Walk With Him Is Also A Requirement For Believers; Otherwise He Would Not Have Commanded Us In Matthew 5:48 (Kjv) When He Said “Be Ye Therefore Perfect Even As Your Father Which Is In Heaven Is Perfect.” If You Are To Be Called Followers Of Christ Then You Must Allow The Holy Spirit To Perfect Your Walk With Christ. This Is The Premise Upon Which The Holy Spirit Inspired Me To Write This Book. It Is Not Written To Condemn You But To Wake Believers Who Are In Spiritual Slumber. We Need To Be Alert For We Know Not When The Master Will Come Like A Thief In The Night. Over The Years In My Walk With The Lord I Have Learned To Depend Upon The Lord To Complete His Work In My Life. As You Read This Book May The Holy Spirit Complete His Perfect Work In Your Life In Jesus Christ’S Name.
