<p>Beams of Light contains poetry about The Teenage Liberation Handbook and the consequences the author suffered from having read it as a kid. It also deals with depression mental illness a friendship with a young trans woman named Renne reflections on life in a psychiatric ward being queer Zionism and how it affected the author's relationship with her first boyfriend snorkeling various young men that the author has been fond of the modern radical right wing and other aspects of the author's past.</p>
