Beatitudes and Terror

<p>Throughout history Scripture has demonstrated its enduring significance by addressing humanity's varied historical situations and social contexts. During times of struggle Christians seek guidance and answers in God's word. Moments of existential crisis-triggered by conflicts shifts in cultural paradigms or sociopolitical changes-encourage fresh interpretations of established theological concepts and biblical exegesis.</p><p></p><p>In this timely and important work Ukrainian evangelical theologians come together to explore the Beatitudes as a source of spiritual and ethical guidance for Christians facing the major upheaval of revolution war and natural disaster. Historically Christians have regarded the Beatitudes as a key to understanding Scripture an ideal model for those spiritually rejuvenated through faith in Christ's life death and resurrection and as essential virtues for nurturing personal spirituality and social engagement justice.</p>
