Becoming

<p><strong>I lost myself for a few years in my 20's. As my 30's approached I no longer recognized myself.</strong></p><p><strong>I went inward took time away from the crowd to really relearn and listen to myself.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Who was I?</strong></p><p><strong>What did I want?</strong></p><p><strong>Most importantly who did I want to be?</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Becoming is a poetic exploration of all that I found on this extensive journey.</strong></p><p><strong>Each thought fear frustration triumph and disappointment.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The heartache the hunger and the healing that broke me apart brought me to my knees and</strong></p><p><strong>rebuilt me as the woman I am today.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><em>I've shed my skin so many times</em></p><p><em>I can hardly recognize myself</em></p><p><em>Layer upon layer</em></p><p><em>Recreating restoring renewing</em></p><p><br></p><p><em>Blossoming into something entirely new while simultaneously rediscovering the roots of who I've</em></p><p><em>always been</em></p><p><br></p><p><em>Like coming home but nothing feels the same and you know it never will be again</em></p><p><br></p><p><em>And that's okay</em></p>
