Bede’s Ecclesiastical History of England

Bedes Ecclesiastical History of England also known as Historia ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum is an ancient historical work written by the Venerable Bede an Anglo-Saxon monk and scholar. Bede completed the book in 731 AD and it is considered one of the most important sources of early English history.
