His early writings appeared in daily newspapers as well as quarterly and monthly magazines where he contributed social and original literary works. He moved to Mumbai in 1976 where he became involved in advertising and video films writing jingles songs dialogues and screenplays along with directing various projects. His published books include Adhoori Aurat Bolti Kahaniyan Man Ke Haare Haar Hai Man Ke Jeete Jeet Shanti Path and Dil Ki Baatein (currently under publication). Alongside this he has been active in independent journalism and column writing across several daily and periodical publications. He also plays an active role in various social organizations.
