Walking towards the end of life with dignity is the embodiment of the original meaning of life.</p><p></p><p>作者简介</p><p></p><p>Author Introduction</p><p></p><p>琼瑶，原名陈喆，一九三八年生于四川成都，出身于书香门第。一九四九年，随父陈致平由大陆到台湾生活，开始写作生涯，随后进入电影、电视剧制作行业。</p><p></p><p>Qiong Yao originally named Chen Zhe was born in Chengdu Sichuan in 1938 and came from a scholarly family. In 1949 she followed her father Chen Zhiping from mainland China to Taiwan to start her writing career and later entered the film and television production industry.</p><p></p><p>琼瑶十六岁时以心如为笔名发表小说《云影》，二十五岁时出版了第一部小说《窗外》。多年来，笔耕不辍，代表作有《烟雨濛濛》《还珠格格》《一帘幽梦》《庭院深深》等，并有多部经典作品被改编为电影、电视剧，影响至深，成为一代人的青春回忆。</p><p></p><p>At the age of sixteen Qiong Yao published the novel Cloud Shadow under the pen name Xinru and at the age of twenty-five she published her first novel Outside the Window.
