Before the Vows

<p>It is clear that many young people today are sexually active and almost none of them hold this reality as a matter of concern. Youth whether Christian or otherwise seem not to have heard the words of Solomon who wrote <em>There is an appointed time for everything and a time for every affair under the heavens</em> (Ecclesiastes 3:1). They take for granted that it is good and even advisable to experience sex before marriage.</p><p>The purpose of this book is to promote among young people a culture of virginity and chastity until marriage. Disciplined and well-behaved youth are the gauge of a good society. I therefore propose human dignity and Christian values as an exemplary paradigm for young people to imitate.</p>
