Behavior of Eddy currents

There are number of techniques generally used in Non destructive testing of materials. Such as Radiography Ultrasonic and Eddy current; etc. In these techniques Eddy current for structural evaluation has not been much utilized. This technique has many advantages to the other Non destructive techniques.This technique is simple quick reliable reproduceable. Material evaluation and Metallurgical phase change can be easily estimated by this technique. This technique also can be utilized for coated materials.
