Behavior of pressure ulcer in the UTI 2

The skin is our natural barrier the organism''s first line of defense that protects us from the external environment. Multiple aggressions of the intrahospital environment affect it being pressure ulcers (UPP) the most frequent; causing the loss of the barrier and making the individual vulnerable to infections and complications. For this reason we decided to carry out this research and characterize the incidence of pressure ulcers in patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit 2 of the Arnaldo Milian Castro Hospital given the high incidence in our population where life expectancy increases every day and where the nursing staff has to be prepared to face this health problem.
