About The Book

This study comes out of the MA thesis of the author. The purpose of the study is to analyze the behavioral management skills of pre-service teachers of English at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University through a set of data collected in the 2013-2014 academic year. The study uses a qualitative research design. Of the qualitative research design Conversation Analysis (henceforth CA) was used to conduct analysis. As for behavioral management maneuvers the study found 11 maneuvers of pre-service English Language Teachers in a young learner English language classroom. It is believed that these maneuvers and their extracts in the study may assist the fields of Teacher Education and Professional Development.
