Behavioural analysis of adolescent sexuality and HIV

Of all the diseases in the world HIV and AIDS is the most dreaded and feared. With the acknowledged spread of HIV and AIDS in recent years adolescent sexuality has become a major concern in all human societies. The central question of the study is: Why despite numerous awareness campaigns in the fight against HIV and AIDS are Central African adolescents prone to risky sexual behaviour and remain vulnerable to HIV and AIDS infection? What are the factors that determine the perception of sexuality and HIV and AIDS risks among Central African adolescents? What is the impact of knowledge about HIV and AIDS infection and its modes of transmission and prevention on the sexual practices of Central African adolescents? What sexual practices among Central African adolescents can be described as risky behavior? Can the strategic options defined in the public health policy solve the problems related to these practices?
