<p>In Behind the Scenes: Myth Magic and Makeup Victor Callegari long-time head makeup artist for the Metropolitan Opera (1975-2010) shares his love for the company backstage insights and personal anecdotes and recollections from forty-five years backstage at the Met. Photographs of many of his one-of-a-kind character makeups illustrate the narrative. The hope is that opera lovers and students of voice may all find inspiration and knowledge in these pages.</p>
