Life was hard for the Jewish people in ancient Israel.The Roman Empire ruled with an iron fist. The Jewish religion had been reduced to an unforgiving system of laws rules and traditions. The prophets had promised Israel that one day it would have a King who would rule it and the world. However for the past four hundred years heaven had been silent.Into this world two lambs were born. One would change the life of a little girl.
