Belated Promises

Handsome witty and charming Dave Bannister started his broadcasting career at the age of twenty-one during World War II. He planned a life of success for himself in that field but when he got married too young to a woman with a ready-made family it appeared that would be his downfall all too soon. From that point on he led a rather tumultuous life as a radio and television personality never quite reaching the heights he had envisioned for himself and failing in three marriages due to his reticence to feel or show love. Becoming fifty he feared his best days were over and was in a downslide until he met the woman who would change his life forever with her unconditional love showing him that he could experience it himself. The ups and downs of his career and personal problems create a story that is intriguing and follows him through several decades and many adventures at last leading him to a happy ending.
